One Month Outtakes

Friends and family and social networkers saw the meatball’s one-month pic last week. Here are a few shots that came in close second places.

The first one is the one we actually used.

The second is from my first attempt. He had been quiet and calm all morning and early afternoon. As soon as I was ready to put him in the chair, of course, he decided he was starving. I took a couple of him screaming because it’s still kind of cute.

The rest are from about an hour later, after he’d eaten and been denied his milk-coma. I hoped he’d stay asleep in the chair, but he did not. “The Cranky Face” is the first, chronologically, in that series.

He kept falling over, obviously. So I’d sit him up, lean back, and try to tap a few shots – within the tight frame I’d created for myself – before he fell over and got mad. (I know. You can just hand over the Mom Of The Year award now.) We played this game maybe a half-dozen times before he’d had enough, but I think we got some keepers.
