There is SO MUCH that I couldn’t squeeze into five minutes. I may have to throw together an outtake reel or something, but this is a snapshot of our 2.5 weeks in China this year!

Congratulations. GREAT video. How old is he? How fortunate that you were able to get a Boy. All I ever see on the airplanes are girls. I saw one boy once. I asked the family how they managed that, and the father pulled up the boys leg and he had a club foot😳
Thanks! He turned four while we were in China, so we were with him on his birthday, which is pretty cool!
It’s actually much easier to adopt boys from China than girls. You probably mostly see girls on planes because most families specifically request girls.
Every agency repand every international adoption advocate I talked to said the same thing: They usually have long lists of little boys who need families – often with very little or no real medical needs – but no one who wants them just because they’re boys. Our process went as fast as it did because we were open to adopting a boy; there’s next to no wait time to be matched with a boy.
I wrote a separate post about it here if you’re interested – https://spitsandwiggles.com/2018/05/08/chinas-orphan-boys/ 🙂
We are so happy for all of you! Such an incredible video to share with him when he grows up! Wishing the four of you many Blessings in your new life together. Love, Kathy and Wendell Harley. ( Tammy Wheatleys Mom)
Thanks Kathy!
